Alkira Early Learning Centre

Alkira ELC is an education and care setting that fosters and embeds a play-based learning philosophy providing holistic learning opportunities that support all developmental areas including social, emotional and intellectual. When they play, children are problem solving, investigating, learning perseverance, becoming divergent thinkers; they are learning how to learn, not what to learn, developing positive dispositions towards learning which prepares them for their formal schooling journey.

Room to grow with space to explore

We believe room to grow and space to explore are vital to the development of a child.

Alkira Early Learning Centre is a purpose designed facility. With children in mind, the building is designed to capture natural light, minimising the need for artificial lighting.
The spacious internal design and extra-large acreage setting provides children with an abundance of space, over and above the industry requirements, ideal for children to learn, play and grow.
Our commitment is to provide an all-encompassing educational environment with a true sense of belonging for all.
Alkira Early Learning Centre provides activities such as Yoga, reading, language, art, drama, cooking, gardening, adventures to the ‘Beyond’, Black Belt Martial Arts (BBMA), dance and music.
We offer Long Day Care, for age 0 to 6.
Conveniently open from 6.30am-6pm Monday to Friday.

The service continues to be recognised by the NSW department of Early Childhood Education and Care as EXCEEDING in all seven quality areas.

I highly recommend Alkira. My children have attended for some time. It feels so comfortable it’s like dropping them off to an extended family.

I understand, support and embrace Alkira’s teaching practices with an emphasis on learning through play.
Their backyard is amazing with so much room to run and explore. With endless amounts of activities to do like caring for the animals and picking veggies from the garden.

The program they have called Storypark has enabled me to connect with the educators. And to see the day to day activities so that I can interact with my kids when they get home. Its also comforting to see them having fun and doing things they wouldn’t normally do at home.
